  1. Cake Decorating & Nutrition Project Clinic

    May. 24, 2025 1:00pm to 3:00pm

    Open to any Fayette County 4-H member with a cake decorating and/or nutrition project.  Clinic will review information for both project areas. Brand new to a project or taken for years, join us as we share what to expect, what to bring and give you some pointers. More information will be available closer to the event but plan to attend.

  4. Downtown Story Walk

    May. 17, 2025 10:00am to 11:30am

    Bring the family to the Fayette County Farmer's Market for a morning of fun and exploring downtown Washington Court House for the DOWNTOWN STORY WALK! Meet at the Kid's Booth at the Farmer's Market to pick up your map and begin your adventure.  Follow the map and the book, "On The Farm At The Market", with stops throughout downtown and ending with a garden planting activity at Carnegie Public Library.

  5. Fridays with Extension

    May. 16, 2025 11:30am to 12:30pm

    Fridays with Extension! One of our educators will be joining our partners at the Fayette County YMCA to share information twice a month.  We will be talking about topics that include cooking/nutrition, gardening, diabetes, 4-H opportunities and more. Classes are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. (You do not need to be a member of the YMCA to attend) Please call our office (740-335-1150) or the Fayette County YMCA for more information.

    4-H Communication Contest If you registered to participate in the Communication Contest (registrations due May 8, 2025), it is your turn to shine! Please be here in time for the 6:00 pm start.  Contest will be held in the meeting room of the OSU Extension Office.

    May. 10, 2025 9:00am to 11:00am

    Fayette County Farmer's Market is celebrating it's 25th Season! Join us for the first Saturday of the season on May 9, 2025.  Located at 101 E. East St, the market is open Saturdays from 8:30 am to noon.

  9. Last day for 4-H camp refund

    May. 09, 2025 8:00am to 4:00pm

    If you have paid for your child to attend 2025 Overnight or Cloverbud Camp but are no longer able to attend, you must request a refund by end of business today (5/9/25 at 4:30 pm). No refund requests will be accepted after today. 

  10. Communication Contest Registration Due

    Registration Due for Communication Contest. Any member of Fayette County 4-H or Cloverbuds wishing to participate in the Communication Contest to be held on Thursday, May 15 at 6:00 pm must have a completed registration form turned in to our office by close of business today.
